About
Soumen Pramanik is currently pursuing his second year of BSc. in critical care technology at the College of Paramedical & Allied Health Sciences, WBUHS. He was also a student at Calcutta University to pursue BSc in mathematics w/ Honors.
Soumen comes from a severely economically struggling family. His father is a peanut seller on the local commuter trains in Bengal, while his mother is a housewife. In 2020 year, Soumen’s family was on the verge of economic collapse and hunger as there was little household income since all train services in Bengal was been suspended for COVID-19 restrictions. Soumen has been with Amrita-Seattle since 2019.
