Both Mipam and her mother endure the scars of abuse, forced to flee their own home on multiple occasions in search of refuge from the turmoil within. While her mother shoulders the dual responsibilities of earning a livelihood as a laborer in the fields and maintaining their household, Mipam perseveres as a diligent student at school, her sharp mind a beacon of hope amidst adversity.

In 2023, Mipam's dedication and talent are recognized as she is selected to embark on a journey to Drepung to study Riglam, immersing herself in the traditional Tibetan Buddhist art of debating—a testament to her resilience and potential.
