In 2022, some of our wildest dreams came true! We launched our first ever Digital Learning Center at 14000ft altitude! This is the first community computer center in this region that is geared towards digital learning. Our computer center is a hub of seamless online learning, empowering our students to excel in the digital age. The center is equipped with 17 brand new laptops, and Surface Pros, projector, and laser printer- gifted generously by Microsoft Seattle, and passionate educators and students!
In May 2023 we were able to install Airtel Xtream Fiber, a high-speed internet service from Airtel at this utmost remote location. With this upgrade, the learning environment for the kids attending our center has been greatly enhanced. Airtel Xtream Fiber offers an impressive 100Mops speed, enabling our students to access online resources, educational websites, and interactive learning platforms without any delays. In Spring 2023, Microsoft gifted Amrita-Seattle 60 brand new Surface Pro 6 devices for the Digital Learning Center.
