Is my donation tax deductable?
Amrita-Seattle is a USA based 501(c)3 tax-exempt organization and your donation is tax-deductible within the guidelines of U.S. law. To claim a donation as a deduction on your U.S. taxes, please keep your email donation receipt as your official record. We'll send it to you upon successful completion of your donation.
How do I find my tax receipt?

How do you use my donation?
We promise to use your generous donation in the most effective way possible. When you "simply" donate, we use your donations to provide assistance where it’s needed most based on our operating needs. If you donated towards an item shown in our Gift Catalog, we earmark that donation towards that project. Similarly, if you sponsor a specific child, partially or wholly, your donation is earmarked exclusively for that student.
Can I change my method of giving or provide a new credit card number online?
Yes. In 2024, we are managing our our donations and sponsorships via the Give Butter platform. If you donated to us for the first time in 2024, you probably used Give Butter and created an account on their platform. Log in to your Give Butter to manage your recurring donations.
How can I cancel my recurring donation?
Please send us an email and we will help you with your cancellation.
